Her early artistic endeavors were trying to be 'picture perfect' and recreating exactly what she was looking at but this work made her miserable and demotivated. It wasn't until a fellow artist and blogger commented on her use and appreciation of colour which Amira completed resonated with that she realized her relationship with colour was her key to her artistic journey.
