Behind The Learning Curve Podcast

About

History of The Learning Curve Podcast. (2014 - 2017)
The Learning Curve Podcast first broadcast in June 2014 in the United Arab Emirates.  The show's focus from 2014 - 2017 was Women Entrepreneurs of the Middle East. For 3 years we shared the stories of awesome women working and living in the MENA (Middle East & North Africa).  We shared their business stories and discussed how they achieved their goals and what kept them going.  In the 3 years the show was listened too across 99 countries and had over 150,000 downloads.
In 2017 the show closed while Nicholla, the host moved countries and decided how the show was going to progress.  Nicholla moved to England which brought the opportunity to have a chapter change to the show and discover new topics and audiences.
The Learning Curve Podcast show 2019
The Learning Curve Podcast is podcast talk show about introducing you to the women of the south west of England so you can connect with them and create more meaningful connections.

How many of you dread going to networking?  We dread them because we find them more stressful than fun, we are afraid to approach people and don't know what to say, the events often feel forced or fake, we have little time to attend networking events or conversations with people you meet are one-sided and you don't get a chance to speak in your alloted time frame!

But...with all that we still want to grow our networks, build meaningful relationships and work with like minded people.  This is where the Learning Curve Podcast can help.  Guests come on the podcast and share their story and their business.   As a listener you get to learn more about the guest and discover if this is someone you want to collaborate with, supply a service to or buy a product from.

Networking doesn't always give us a lot of time to start to build that relationship and say what we need so as an alternative we interview those keen to network and build their business.  We give them the platform to talk about their business journey and help the listeners get to know them better.  The listeners get a better idea of their values and the way they run their business which all helps in building a more meaningful connection and trust.  We all know we buy from people that we trust, like and know!

The Learning Curve Podcast allows you to hear beyond the networking meeting and really get to know the guests beyond the short one min pitch and the 10 minute one-2-one's.   Is the guest someone you want to get to know more and work with?  A more indepth conversation will help you make that  conclusion.

The show originally started back in 2014 while Nicholla was living and working in the United Arab Emirates.  Her show then was focused on Women Entrepreneurs of the Middle East and she used the platform to discover the talents, ambitions and achievements of both Arab and Expat women. The show has now transitioned focus on the UK market where Nicholla currently lives.
